Clean and replace the air conditioning filter element regularly to prevent clogging.
The air conditioning system of the small excavator, like other components, requires regular maintenance. Among them, the air conditioning filter element often needs maintenance. Air conditioning filters are generally cleaned every 500 hours.
If you work in a dusty environment for a long time, you can increase the frequency of cleaning.
When there is too much dust or other impurities on the filter element, it will clog the filter mesh and reduce the cooling effect of the air conditioner. Of course, the filter must also be replaced regularly.
Cleaning and inspection of condenser plate impurities
In addition to the air conditioner filter element that needs to be cleaned regularly, the air conditioner condenser piece must also be cleaned and inspected. Dirt, dust and other impurities on the condenser piece should be cleaned in time to prevent the air conditioner condenser from clogging and affecting the cooling effect of the air conditioner.
Cleaning of other impurities and dust in the air conditioner
Other impurities and dust also need to be cleaned regularly, such as removing dust on the radiator. When there is too much dust on the radiator, it will increase the fuel consumption of the engine. In addition, the debris at the air inlet of the air conditioner must also be dealt with in time. Too much debris will cause blockage. air inlet, resulting in reduced air output from the air conditioner.
Check air conditioning compressor belt tension
The air conditioning compressor belt tension needs to be checked regularly, usually every 250 hours.
Press the belt with one finger (about 6.2kgf of force) at the middle position between the drive pulley and the compressor pulley. The deflection of the belt should be 6.3-8.7mm. In addition, regular inspection of the refrigerant is required. Low refrigerant liquid will affect the cooling effect.
Check the air conditioner even more during the season when you are not using it.
The frequency of use of the small excavator air conditioner will be greatly increased in the summer, while it is not used most of the time in other seasons.
